I received a wonderful question today from someone who remembered my warnings about the summer Mercury retrograde and just how challenging that period could be!
And goodness, didn’t some of you experience it! ❤️
So naturally, the question was…
Is this forthcoming retrograde going to be just as intense, or are we in for an easier ride? 🤔
Well, my answer might surprise you!
We are entering a particularly interesting astrological period, with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio overlapping Venus retrograde.
And while the summer brought themes of emotional upheaval, unresolved feelings and old wounds, this period carries a rather different significance.

✨ Relationships and emotional attachments
✨ Recognising repeating patterns
✨ Reclaiming personal power
✨ Transformation and conscious change
But here is something I really want you to understand…
A retrograde is not something we automatically have to fear, nor does it mean we are destined to experience difficulties.
There is a tremendous difference between allowing circumstances to overwhelm us and consciously recognising the opportunities for growth they may present.
And this is precisely why I have been speaking about the importance of harnessing the forthcoming Full Hunter’s Moon energy alongside these retrograde influences. 🌕
Rather than becoming a victim of what is happening around us, we can use this period symbolically to reflect, release, realign and move forward with intention.
The summer retrograde was about feeling and processing. This one is about recognising, reclaiming and transforming.
Neither is necessarily stronger or weaker. They simply invite us to explore different aspects of ourselves.
